Bio Remodelling

Bio-remodelling treatment is suitable for anyone who has skin laxity, crepey skin or fine lines and wrinkles. While they contain the same substance as fillers – Hylauronic Acid (HA), they do not volumise like traditional fillers.

The product creates hydration in the tissue where it is needed due to its high spreadability. This results in hydrated and smooth tissue which helps to decrease the appearance of fine lines, improve skin texture, intensify hydration and gives an overall improvement in skin quality and firmer skin. It is a safe and fast procedure with little downtime that helps to tighten skin.

How it works

Bio-remodelling filler injections contain pure hyaluronic acid (HA) – a naturally occurring substance in the skin that stabilises structure, attracts and binds water, and improves elasticity.

As we age, our natural collagen and elastin production decreases – meaning our skin loses its composition and firmness. Most people begin to see the effects of hyaluronic acid depletion as they reach their 30s – and Bioremodelling is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to counteract this.

The procedure involves the prescribed product being injected just under the skin using a very fine needles in 5 pre-determined points. It is relatively painless and there is usually no need for topical pain relief creams prior to treatment. Our practitioner will determine the injection points on the face necessary to give maximum results.

You need 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart, it stimulates collagen and elastin production and deeply hydrating the skin. This allows the cells to remodel sagging and deteriorating tissue. Bio Remodelling does not add volume making it somewhat different from dermal fillers but instead provides intense moisturisation for a renewed, restored and refreshed skin texture.

HA fills the space of volume loss and stimulates skin cell renewal. Because this bio remodeling filler has high levels of HA, of it can absorb water and the skin will be more hydrated.

What is the difference between fillers and Bio remodelling?

Bio Remodelling does not add volume to the face and is not a dermal filler. Its role is to deeply hydrate the skin and improve skin resilience and flexibility. Containing a natural product that absorbs water Bio Remodelling keeps the skin hydrated, however it will not replace lost volume or help to contour the face as a dermal filler will.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

What results can I expect?

Over a period of 3 – 4 weeks, the treatment kickstarts the production of elastin, re-modelling the skin tissue and giving it a plumper and tighter look radiating a natural glow. It can be used as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other fillers to replace volume loss, hydrate and tighten skin, and/or can also compliment anti wrinkle injections to further improve results.

It is recommended you have 2 treatments, one month apart. The results are generally seen and felt after the second treatment and last approximately 6 to 12 months. Sometimes further treatments are required to see the full benefit, and we recommend maintenance sessions are carried out once or twice a year, depending on your body’s response to the initial treatment.

After Treatment

After the injection treatment, you may have little lumps. It may be possible to feel the product where it has been injected under the skin. It will settle and there is no need to massage.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are uncommon but can include redness, small bumps, bruising and mild tenderness post treatment. During the first 12 hours post treatment we recommend avoiding make up, 2 days post avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise. Bruising is always a risk when ever you inject into the skin.
